I always work with my families to ensure that our photos are in alignment with your world.
Movement, nature, sights, smells, baking at home. There’s so many beautiful ideas to capture your true embodied nature. The devotion of motherhood, captured. The greatest gift and a lasting treasure.
I encourage my families and mothers to explore not only how they want to be seen but by photographing in the home, the gift of the perfectly imperfect, the toys, the mess, the carpet, that chair -this is life and the fabric of home but lets make it art. I promise these images will be beautiful.
These sessions can take place at home or we adventure into nature. These sessions usually take 1.5 hours. But I love to sit and be with my families, mothers and women and depending on the light, the children’s needs, connecting, talking, were at ease, enjoying each others company, in presence.
Prepare for outfit changes, playfulness the world is your oyster.
Your private gallery is available all in high resolution, this includes high res film scans available for you digitally. 60+ fine art images.

long form

This is a long form session and will be 2+ hours in duration. We have the most fun and I get the most out of you, we move with the children and their interests, throughout different spaces. Inside and in nature we have the opportunity to seize the day, I can follow you through the morning wake up, breakfast, sunrise, throughout the day, (film loves the bold sunshine) or through evening and bed.
All galleries are delivered to you in high resolution, this includes high res film scans available for you digitally.
Let’s spend the day together, I am relaxed, fun and deep. They’re a cathartic release where you and your loves are witnessed and you get an opportunity to really be, stand still and breath the day in. Sometimes we need to create these moments where you are honoured as the mother.

Remote photography session
$450
: a fine art photographic session where the photographer is not physically present, they utilise your phone to direct and take photos.
These allow me to work all over the world offering an intimate experience, can be less invasive and freeing for those that dislike having they’re photo taken. These sessions take some additional time, walking me through the space just like FaceTime. Duration is for approximately 2 hours, the sessions can be both indoors or in nature. Your gallery of high resolution images will be delivered to you directly.
Virtual sessions are $450 and include 20+ fine art images.
I provide guidance and art direction and can help you choose your wardrobe. I stay connected to you throughout the session and guide you through.
If there is another adult or older child that can help hold the camera this is invaluable, otherwise, a can of soup and an elastic band works well too. I direct you to position the camera. Come with a free spirit, openness and sense of adventure, we have lots of fun and play dress ups, mostly the magic is in the unplanned moments over the course of the time we have together.
You will receive a pre information session phone call before our scheduled shoot to ensure all questions have been answered and we are ready for the shoot.

Chrystal approaches weddings days free of expectations, inspired by natural light and real moments. The result is warm, soulful images that feel timeless.
